Composting Update: Starting today there will be two places where you can compost your solid food waste – in the cafeteria and in the outback. You can put your solid food waste in the green bucket (next to the regular trash bin) at any time during lunch. By composting our food, we create less material that ends up in a landfill, and the composted food creates soil that can be used in gardens – so thanks for helping the environment!

The Youth Venture Shelter Helpers Donation Drive was a huge success! Throughout the two weeks we held the drive students and faculty contributed an astounding 130 pounds of animal food, which will go to feeding animals at the Worcester Animal Rescue League. A special mention goes to Brian and Lindsay's Advisory, who won a pizza party by donating a total of 52 pounds of food. Congratulations! Jo and Julie's advisories also deserve recognition for their donations, coming in second and third place, respectively. Thank you again to all who donated. Your kindness will help make a difference in the lives of these animals.

Sherry's House Youth Venture will have a box in the lobby from Tuesday April 30th until May 10th collecting donations. Sherry's House is a home in Worcester where kids undergoing cancer treatments can stay in a non-hospitals like environment with their families. Please donate non-perishable food items, toys (brand new), or household supplies like fabric softener, paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, paper plates, bowls, and plastic utensils. We will also accept gift cards for places like Shaw’s, Market Basket, Uber, Target, Visa, Price Chopper, Aldi, Walmart, and Big Y. Thank you in advance!
